LEE COUNTY, FL - WINK News is following two developing stories as Lee County Sheriff's detectives try to find who is responsible for stealing two trucks in as many days. On Sunday night someone stole an 18 wheeler with a refrigerated trailer carrying 180 thousand eggs. Joe Carlisle tells WINK News, "(whoever took it) knew it was refrigerated so they knew the cargo was valuable." Then, early Monday morning, someone stole a 2013 cement mixer that was being delivered from Missouri to a company in Tampa. The driver made an overnight stop at the Pilot truck stop on Luckett Road and I-75. He told investigators, he parked the truck and spent the night at a friend's home in Lehigh Acres. When he returned, the truck was gone. If you have any information about either theft, you are asked to call the Lee County Sheriff's office or Crime Stoppers.
