LEE COUNTY, Fla.- A woman convicted in the double murder of two Cape Coral teens is back in Lee County Jail.
Ashley Toye, convicted in the murders of Alexis and Jeffrey Sosa, is looking a new sentence.
The Supreme Court recently ruled her previous punishment, *life without* parole was unconstitutional, because Ashley was only 17.
Tuesday, the judge delayed the case further, because the Supreme Court never ruled on what the appropriate punishment would be.
That's now up to the State Legislature to decide. A bill is currently going through the house.
Toye's next court date is May 12th.
