ESTERO, Fla.-The Gulf Coast Humane Society hosted its 4th Annual Fast and Furriest 5k Run and 1 Mile Walk at Coconut Point Mall on March 29th, 2014.

Avid runners to leisure walkers alike came out with their pups to compete in the 5K race or participate in the one-mile walk.

This is the final race of the “Triple Crown;” an event that spanned over a three-month period and included three 5K race/walk events benefiting local no-kill shelters. Participants in all three events will receive the “Triple Crown” award at the end of the Fast and Furriest event on March 29th, which includes a commemorative certificate and an array of gift certificates to local stores.
