FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. - Nervous Nellie's Crazy Waterfront Eatery is hosting its St. Patrick's Day celebration Monday.

At 5 p.m., the restaurant will begin its 3-pound Reuben challenge. For a donation of $15, contestants can try to conquer on the giant sandwich. The first 3 people who can finish the entire sandwich and sides in less than 5 minutes will roll away with $500 each. All contestants will receive a prize for entering. The restaurant is donating $10 from every entry to the Lynx Educational Foundation.

There willl also be live music, a cabbage bowling contest, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, vendors, and green beer. Nervous Nellie's hopes to break the record by selling 6,000 pounds of corned beef during the celebration.

The live music begins at 1 p.m. with Dave Collaton, followed by the Dweebs at 4 p.m., and finishing with Left of Center. Proceeds from Monday benefit the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
