ESTERO, Fla.- The FGCU Women's Basketball Team will play Oklahoma State in West Lafayette, Indiana in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The game is Saturday at 11 a.m. on ESPN2.

The team watched the announcement live on ESPN during tonight's selection show special.

It's a big day for Eagles basketball. Both the men's and women's team are getting ready to soar.

The men are heading off to Tallahassee and the women are getting ready to go to the big dance!

The women's basketball team is headed to the NCAA tournament for the second time in three years! They beat Stetson University in overtime last night, 72 to 70, winning the Atlantic Sun Conference title for the first time at home.

The men's basketball team is getting ready for the first round of the National Invitational Tournament against Florida State. It's the first trip to the NIT in program history, and despite losing out on going to the big dance, they're ready for the matchup and a potential big run.

"At this point, I don't thnk people are giving us much credit 'cause we aren't back in the tournament, but we still won the conference title...regular season.  I think they're expecting us to play tough," said FGCU forward Chase Fieler.
