DOWNTOWN NAPLES, Fla.- The Naples Police are reminding and warning people they will be enforcing the laws against having alcohol on the street. Lt. John Barkley tells WINK News, the St. Patrick's Day Parade is the highest attended parade of the year. So they want to make sure people are having fun, but they do so safely. That's why they're not just reminding spectators,  but the restaurants and bars along 5th Avenue about the ordinance that prohibits alcohol being consumed streets and sidewalks. But I spoke to the manager of Paddy Murphy's who said this ordinance is costing him money.

The Naples Police expects thousands to come out to the parade on Saturday. So what is the penalty if you're caught not following the ordiance? You could face a $115 fine and you could even be arrested.
