CAPE CORAL, FL - Guy Barbary says a day at the beach and a loose screw in his sunglasses lead to a "labor of passion". Barbary says he needed an eyeglass repair kit, desparately, but neither he nor anyone around him had one handy. So he began thinking of a more simple way to have an eyeglass repair kit within reach, WHEN YOU NEED IT! Barbary says, "I just knew there had to be an easier way". Thus the name, "E-SEE-ER". The tiny capsule holds a screwdriver and those tiny eyeglass screws. With the idea nearing perfection, Barbary needed funding to begin production. He sought help from a website his daughter recommended, KICKSTARTER. After 3 attempts, his idea caught on and donor/investors began to jump on-board. His project was fully funded last month with donors pitching thousands of dollars to help Barbary get his project to the next phase, production. Barbary says he hopes to have final molds made and "E-SEE-ER" in full production, this year. We'll be watching!
