COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- Collier County school leaders have approved a new cyberbullying policy.

After some debate, the district has decided not to punish students if they bully their peers online, while at home. Leaders were looking at changing the policy and extending their power to police students while they're at home, but after discussing the issue, the district decided not to do that.

Ultimately, students can only be punished if they cyberbully their peers while in school.
