LABELLE, Fla.- A LaBelle man is recovering from minor burns after a fire spread out of control in his back yard.

LaBelle firefighters said they still do not have a cause for the blaze, which scorched nearly a half an acre of land and burned a small shed on the man's property.

One neighbor who was at work said he got a call telling him the flames were spreading to his property.

"One of my cousins called me to tell me that they saw flames coming from my property, so I rushed back here as fast as I could. I got here and a deputy said that it was my neighbor that started the fire. That's all I heard," said Pedro Torres.

No one else was injured.

The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.
