FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla.- This weekend marks the 56th annual Shrimp Festival on Fort Myers Beach.

The 2-mile long parade runs down the main street of town (Estero Blvd) from the beach school to the County Park and Festival Grounds on the beach on Saturday morning. The Matanzas bridge closes from 9am until noon.

The Shrimp Festival food, fun & crafts expo features more than 100 great vendors along the beach from 10a.m. Saturday until 6p.m. and 10-5 on Sunday.

You can also grab a world famous Lions Shrimp Dinner on the beach and pavilion from 10a.m. Saturday until 5p.m. and Sunday 10a.m. until they are sold out.
