COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- A driver sustained minor injuries when the truck he was driving rolled onto its side on I-75 southbound at mile marker 111. Traffic was slow-moving in the area for hours.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 37-year-old Nathaniel J. Shroyer was taken to North Collier Hospital for treatment after his well drilling rig rolled onto its left side on the shoulder of the highway.
The truck suffered a blowout on the right front tire and traveled about 238 feet before striking a wire fence. The truck continued in a southerly direction, struck a tree and then rolled onto its left side where it came to final rest.
