JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A Jacksonville man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for a fatal robbery.
A Duval County judge sentenced 19-year-old Marcus Lamont Brown on Monday after he pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and armed robbery.
Authorities say 28-year-old Lorenzo Williams was found dead in a field several days after Christmas in 2012. Police say Williams was lured to a vacant house to be robbed. He was then taken to the field and shot.
Prosecutors believe Brown was the one who shot Williams. The Florida Times-Union (http://goo.gl/xqgKRv ) reports that an accomplice, Eric Vincent Hill, was sentenced to 15 years in prison in November after pleading guilty to accessory after the fact.
