PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (AP) - Investigators in South Florida say a body found recently by a person walking a dog is that of an Indiana man who was a victim of foul play.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office identified the man Friday as 24-year-old Kyle Lutes of Terre Haute, Ind. No other information was immediately available about Lutes or why he was in Florida.
His body was discovered Feb. 8 in Palm Beach Gardens, which is north of West Palm Beach. It was badly decomposed, but authorities said Friday that Lutes was the victim of a homicide. Investigators did not release how he died.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
