CAPE CORAL, Fla - Cape Coral Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Check-n-Go Friday night.

Investigators say two subjects entered the Del Prado Boulevard South location. One of them displayed a black semi-automatic handgun and then locked the door behind them.

Police say the subjects smashed the office phone and ordered employees to open the cash drawer. They later ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

They say the suspect in the gray hoodie had his bandanna down during the robbery so he may be recognizable.

The suspects appear to be about 6' tall and 200 lbs. Police say when they left the store, they fled southbound on foot.
