COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- Collier County Sheriff's Office detectives are asking for the community's help in identifying a woman who may have information in connection with a battery on a T.J. Maxx store employee on Dec. 16, 2013.
Reports say two women were behaving suspiciously in the 5018 Airport-Pulling Road store at around 8:00 p.m. A store employee approached the women and offered assistance. The women declined and continued to shop for about 30 minutes. At that point, one of the women approached the employee they had encountered earlier and said, “Do you have a problem?” The employee replied, “No.” Seconds later the suspect sprayed the store employee in the face with pepper spray and fled. A witness told deputies the women left the parking lot in a silver P.T. Cruiser.
