LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Alico Family Golf is hosting its grand opening celebration Saturday, January 11.

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., most amenities will be open to the public free of charge. A donation of $10 is encouraged. That money goes to the Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida.

Alico Family Golf is designed for all ages, and offers programs for serious golfers, as well as new and returning golfers. Local PGA professionals Jim St. Germain and Kraig Feighery paired up with investors to create the PGA golf learning center. In addition to the golf amenities, Alico Family Golf offers a unique location for corporate gatherings, summer and after-school camps and other special events and activities. 

The center has 18 holes of miniature golf, nine holes of SNAG-friendly golf (for new players), driving range and short game area.

On opening day, there will be complimentary food and beverages and activities for the kids.

Alico Family Golf is located at 16300 Lee Road, in Fort Myers.
