BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - No one was injured when a bus caught fire on northbound I-75, near Bonita Beach Rd., Wednesday morning.

According to Bonita Springs firefighters, the driver saw the bus overheating and pulled over. Within minutes, the vehicle was engulfed in flames.

Florida Highway Patrol tells WINK News this is a privately-owned, converted bus used to transport migrant workers.

The company A&S was contracted to transport the bus to its new home. A&S told WINK News the bus was purchased 15 minutes before it caught fire.

All lanes have reopened, but traffic is slow-going.
