LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - "Realized when I got into the house that I'd been hit. My face was leaking blood."

Marquita Hill has more than a dozen shotgun pellet wounds on her body.

"The gun hit me all over my leg, my face, once in my arm," said Hill.

Deputies say last night, her ex boyfriend, a 16 year old, came to her house, and shot at her several times.
Marquita hadn't spoken to him in about 5 months.

"I guess him not getting attention from me triggered his mind or whatever."

Marquita and her brother Martavis were outside waiting for their older brother when the 16 year old and his brother, Jahleel Potts, showed up.

Their mom noticed the two boys and asked them to leave.

"He was like I don't care, you can call the police, I'm still going to shoot," said Hill.

That's when Marquita and Martavis say things moved fast, hearing one shot after another.

"I felt something hit my finger. I just ran into the house," said Martavis.

"My legs were just burning and in pain and that was it."

The boys ran down the street and around the corner, where they lived.

Dropping the shotgun in the backyard, eventually surrendering to deputies.

Marquita says she's grateful he can't hurt her anymore.

"I just don't want no part of him. Hopefully they keep him off the streets so nobody else can be harmed," said Hill.
