PUNTA GORDA, Fla.- A Charlotte County man is facing 27 charges relating to animal neglect and cruelty.

Back in May of 2013, authorities arrested Pablo Cauz after they found dogs, goats, horses and even baby alligators in bad condition at his Oil Well Road home.

Yesterday, Cauz was arrested for additional charges in this case. He's facing 12 counts of animal crulety, 12 counts of animal abandonment, and three counts of animal torture.

Animal Control officers also say they found roosters and materials on the property that lead them to believe Cauz was also running a cockfighting ring.
