SANFORD, Fla. (AP) - A dragnet conducted by the Seminole County Sheriff's Office has resulted in 48 arrests, including a woman charged with stealing $1,700 worth of bras from a shopping mall.
The sheriff's office in suburban Orlando said Tuesday that the goal of the dragnet was to stop retail theft, remove drunk drivers from roads and prevent burglaries.
Charges filed against the suspects include driving under the influence, theft and drug possession.
As part of the dragnet, plain-clothes deputies worked undercover inside several stores.
Besides the bra-theft suspect, deputies arrested three suspects accused of stealing Christmas gifts and cash from a home.
