BONITA SPRINGS, Fla.- WINK News was there as Christmas wishes came true. On Monday, a group of kids had their own, personal Santas!

Lee County deputies took a group of Bonita Springs students on a shopping spree at Target. They were chosen based on an essay on the topic "What does this holiday season mean to you?"

The kids, grades kindergarten through fifth, were each given $200.00 to spend, and that was enough money to cross some gifts off their Christmas list.

The shopping spree money was donated by the Bonita Springs community.
