OCALA, Fla. (AP) - Marion County Sheriff's deputies may have solved a string of robberies thanks to a wallet found in the driveway behind a convenience store.
The Ocala Star-Banner (http://bit.ly/1hnEGfx ) reports investigators found the wallet Friday, after the store was held up by two men. A detective went to the home listed on the ID of 22-year-old Keith Ray Howell, which was inside the wallet. He found a grocery bag on the porch with a ski mask inside.
An investigator pulled over a car Wednesday and found Howell in the back seat. Howell and two others were taken in for questioning. A search of Howell's car uncovered latex gloves, a black mask and a pellet gun.
Howell faces multiple charges and remains in jail. An attorney wasn't listed on jail records.
