LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help identifying a masked man caught on camera robbing Citgo gas station, located at 12516 Palm Beach Boulevard, last week.
According to deputies, the white male, who is believed to be in his late 50s or early 60s, entered the gas station at 9:30 p.m. last Wednesday, December 11th. The man immediately approached the clerk and demanded that she give him all the money in the cash register. Without hesitation, the man walked behind the counter, with a knife in hand, and forced the clerk to open the cash drawer. Within seconds, the gloved suspect emptied the drawer it of an undisclosed amount of cash before taking off on foot, eastbound on Palm Beach Boulevard.
Anyone with information on the identity of the unknown robber is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
