LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- Make-A-Wish Southern Florida granted a special wish for a Lehigh Acres 10-year-old boy, and it's something the community can enjoy.

Benji Trevino was born with Spina Bifida. When he learned the Make-A-Wish Foundation would grant him anything he asked for, he knew just what he wanted- a six foot fish aquarium at his family's church, Ministerio Esperanza Church.

His expression said it all on Tuesday, when he saw the 270-gallon tank for the first time. "Very cool, I like the fish they have in there. I was pretty excited to see it," he said.

Benji loves animals and wants to be a marine biologist when he grows up. He could have had the aquarium in his house, but he wanted to share it with those he loves. "so my friends and family can see it and also it's going to be there for a long time. So I can remember the day I wished for it."

His mom, Michela, says, "this year he underwent two major surgeries so it was a very difficult year for him. When we were referred to Make-A-Wish, instead of asking for toys or anything, he asked for a fish tank. And we were surprsied because why would you want an aquarium? But he did."

She says she's proud of her son for his wish and says he's very determined to achieve whatever he puts his mind to. She says, "this is the best Christmas gift he could have gotten. There are people willing to go out of their way to make a child's dream come true."

Crews with Living Color Aquariums, featured on Nat Geo WILD's 'Fish Tank Kings' helped install the aquarium and make it all possible.
