COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- The Collier County Sheriff's Office is investigating a home invasion robbery that took place on Hunters Point Rd. on Tuesday just before 10:00 p.m.

The victim's Harley Davidson F150 truck was stolen at gunpoint, among other things.

The victim told deputies he pulled into his driveway and was ambushed by two men dressed in all black, wearing ski masks and gloves. They were hiding near the garage and ordered him to the ground at gunpoint

The suspects took something from the victim that was redacted from the incident report, and then ordered the victim inside the residence, where they looked for other items to steal. They took what they wanted and then told the victim they would be taking his truck as well.

The victim said he was able to get to a neighbor to report the crime, after hearing the suspects leave in his vehicle.

Deputies arrived and determined the suspects must have had access to the gate code to the community.

The victim's truck was recovered at W. Bush St. and Lincoln Blvd., several miles from the crime scene, and returned to the owner.

If you have any information about this crime, you are asked to call SWFL Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS.
