COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - Snow is in the forecast for Collier County on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Collier County Parks and Recreation will host the 28th Annual Snowfest on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

What started in 1985 with just five tons of snow and a few hundred people, Snowfest is now Collier County’s largest community event, attracting over 15,000 people to play in 100 tons of snow. Activities include toboggan snow hills, ice-skating rink, Santa’s workshop, pony rides and petting zoo, festive foods, and a full-scale carnival.

Location: Golden Gate Community Park, 3300 Santa Barbara Boulevard
Gate Admission: $2 per person; children three and under free

Parking: Calusa Park Elementary, 4600 Santa Barbara Blvd.
Berkshire Commons at Radio Road & Santa Barbara Boulevard
