NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla.– The eastbound lanes of Hancock Bridge Parkway at US 41 have re-opened after a water main break yesterday. The break has been fixed, but now there's a boil water notice.

All restaurants and business on both sides of US 41 are under a boil water notice from Pondella Road, south to North Key Drive. The boil water notice will be in effect for two to three days.

That means that over the next two to three days, all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing your teeth, or washing dishes should be boiled for one minute. Or use bottled water instead.

Residents in this area can call 533-8575 for updates on the boil water notice any time after 4:30 on Saturday.
