LEE COUNTY, Fla.- The man accused of opening fire at a Gulf Coast Town Center bar faced a judge in North Carolina this morning.
Yesterday, U.S. marshals arrested Jose Martins in a parking lot at a hotel in the town of Boone. Authorities tracked him down after he made several credit card purchases in the area.
There has been no word yet as to when he will be extradited back to Florida.
Once back in the area, he faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and firing a deadly missile into an occupied building for last month's shooting.
No one was hurt.
