LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- Lee County Sheriff's deputies and SWFL Crime Stoppers are searching for the suspects responsible for shooting out the windows of 29 vehicles with BB guns over the past 10 days.

The shooting spree started on Friday, November 15th, when 10 cars had their windows shattered by a spray of BB pellets. Eight more cars were damaged over the remainder of that weekend, and since then, the shooters have damaged a total of 29 vehicles. The last incident was reported Monday night.

Detectives believe the suspects may be juveniles who reside in the Lehigh area. All of the damage has occurred in the late night or early morning hours, and to this point, no witnesses have come forward stating that they’ve observed the crimes.

No injuries have been reported.
