NAPLES, Fla.- Naples Police are searching for the suspect(s) who stole approximately $700 in change from beach parking meters.

On Monday just after 1:15 p.m., police responded to City Hall where they met with the man employed by the City of Naples to maintain the parking meters for the city. He told police that some time between Friday and Monday, some unknown person(s) without permission stole coins from the parking meters between 5th Ave S to 7th Ave N. He stated he went to collect the coins out of the meters and for the most part they were empty. There was no damage to the meters, so the subject(s) must have had a master key.

The employee told police that a usual weekend collection, will bring in approximately $700.00.
