MIAMI (AP) - The second of the three lion cubs born in September at Zoo Miami has died.

The zoo announced the death Tuesday.

A zoo spokesman says the male cub began showing weakness and trembling in his hind legs last week, went into cardiac arrest and died. Last month, a sibling cub died of neglect.

The Miami Herald (http://goo.gl/jMVHy4) reports that the surviving female cub is showing similar symptoms, and the zoo's medical staff is providing care.
