MIAMI (AP) - Authorities say a Miami man fatally shot two neighbors and wounded another before fleeing the area and killing himself.

Miami-Dade police say 72-year-old Roberto Garcia Sousa went to the home of 56-year-old Elio Acosta and 79-year-old Jesus Fernandez around noon Wednesday and fatally shot Acosta. Fernandez was several blocks away at the home of 77-year-old Miguel Enriquez.

Police say Acosta next went to Enriquez's home, where he shot Fernandez and Enriquez. Officers responded to that shooting, and both men were taken to Ryder Trauma Center, where Fernandez died. By the time officers learned of the first shooting and responded, Acosta was already dead.

Authorities soon located Sousa's vehicle in southwestern Miami-Dade County. Sousa was found dead inside with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The gun matched the weapon used in the earlier shootings.

Police haven't released a motive for the shooting.

Enriquez was in stable condition Thursday.
