Lee County, Fla. -- A woman says she's ready to bring her attacker to justice, after Fort Myers Police say he raped and tried to kill her.
Officers say the victim knew Keylon Barrett.
Tuesday, a Lee County judge has ordered Barrett to stay away from a woman that police say he raped and tried to kill.
According to the arrest warrant, on September 8th, Barrettt known as "Max" to the victim forced her into a field at Katherine and Jackson Streets.
The victim told police "Max" had a gun and demanded sex from her.
The victim rebuffed "Max's" demands and Max then proceed to force vaginal intercourse with her.
Officers arrested him on outstanding warrants for other crimes in Polk County.
DNA results have come back identifying Barrett as the suspect in the Lee County rape and attempted murder case.
