COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- Collier County school leaders and teacher's assistances are one step closer to reaching a deal on pay raises.
Following last night's negotiations, a representative for the teacher's union said progress is being made.
The teaching assistants are upset because they aren't getting raises comparable to the one teachers are receiving.
The union plans to meet this week to discuss the offer.
The two sides could reach a deal as early as next Monday.
