LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Lee County Sheriff's deputies are searching for the man accused of robbing an ice cream lady at gunpoint on Saturday.

The victim told deputies, through a translator, that she was driving her pink, Ford, ice cream van on the 10700 block of Clear Lake Loop at 7:30 p.m. She said that she stopped in front of Lago Del Sol apartments, and was sitting in the driver's seat, waiting for customers, when she felt something pressing against the side of her head. The victim told deputies she was able to see a man wearing a gray and black bandana over his face, and a black hoodie, pushing a silver firearm against her head. Two men wearing jean shorts, black hoodies and black masks then reportedly entered the vehicle through the passenger door. The victim said she stood up, but the men pushed her down. The woman said the suspects took a cash drawer and her cell phone.

The victim immediately went to a friend's house and tracked the location of her phone, according to the incident report. The phone was tracked to the area of Health Park Hospital and then back to School St., where it remained.

The investigation continues.
