HIALEAH, Fla. (AP) - Authorities have identified the charred bodies found in a burned-out vehicle in a warehouse district in Hialeah.
Hialeah police say 22-year-old Megan Roccelle McNulty and 25-year-old Georbel Gonzalez Rodriguez were shot to death and later put in the trunk of a blue 2008 Mercedes. Officials found that car burning early on Oct. 28.
The Miami Herald (http://hrld.us/17QVNUD ) reports MuNulty and Rodriguez were in a romantic relationship. Both lived in Hollywood.
Police say they were last seen together on the morning of Oct. 26. Spokesman Carl Zogby says investigators suspect more than one person participated in the crime.
Phyllis McNulty says her "heart is broken" and asks anyone with information about her daughter's death.
