COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- Ken Fairbanks, the principal of Immokalee High School, announced plans for a memorial service for the three students who lost their lives in a car accident Halloween night.

Jacob Garibay, Joseph Daguerre Jr. and Gerardo Ruiz died when their vehicle crashed at the intersection of Immokalee Road and Camp Keais Road.

Fairbanks said the school will collect donations from students and staff during lunch in the courtyard beginning Wednesday, November 6th. Funds will be divided evenly among the three families.

Memory books will also be made available, during lunch each day, for students to write a note to the parents of the three students.

Fairbanks said there will also be a releasing of balloons at the football game on Friday, November 15th.

Three signs will be ordered and placed at the school parking lot exits to remind everyone to drive carefully in honor of the three students.
