FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Boston Red Sox pick up another World Series championship in Wednesday night's win over the St. Louis Cardinals, and fans from Fenway South are celebrating along with the team. It's the Sox third World Series title in nine years, and the first time they got the win at home since 1918.

The team announced their Rolling Rally parade will take place in Boston on Saturday, November 2 starting at 10 a.m. Duck boats will escort the World Series champions from Fenway Park around the city and in to the Charles River.

For Southwest Florida fans, local celebrations will be announced shortly. The Director of Florida Business Operations for the Red Sox tells WINK News they will be planning something for fans here in the coming weeks.

To get in the Sox spirit now, local fans can score the latest championship gear starting Friday, November 1. Limited amounts of World Series merchandise is being shipped to the Red Sox Team Store at Jet Blue Park. The store plans to open at 10 a.m. Friday. They'll be open everyday except Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The spring training season schedule is expected to be released in late November, and tickets go on sale on Saturday, December 7.
