NORTH NAPLES, Fla - Superheroes in Naples paid a special visit to dozens of Southwest Florida kids who are spending this Halloween in the hospital.

Carole Ann Desormeau is spending this Halloween in NCH in North Naples after getting her appendix removed Wednesday night.

"I was super sad. I never thought i would have had appendicitis, but it came all of a sudden and I guess it just had to happen," says Desormeau.

But, despite a major surgery, this Halloween is turning out to be more memorable than most. Spiderman, Batman, the Incredible Hulk and Superman all paid Desormeau a visit that she will never forget.

"It was cool. It was amazing," says Desormeau. "Best thing of my visit. It's the best visit in the hospital for the past two days other than seeing my sister and dad again."

The superheroes are from The Clean Up Group, a locally owned company. They decided to take their daily job up a notch. "I like it," says 'Superman.' "It's good for the kids. It's good entertainment."

Repelling several stories from the top of NCH, for these window washer it's usually about brightening up the rooms, but this holiday, it's all about brightening these patients day.

"I'm just greatful for everything," says Desormeau.

Carole Ann tells WINK she is going to be released later this evening and plans to go Trick or Treating as a patient, borrowing a wheelchair to get around her neighborhood.
