NAPLES, Fl. - There's a fun way to throw back a beer and support a local organization this weekend. It's the Second Annual brew ha-ha at mercato in naples. More than 30 craft beers from all over the world are featured.
You can sip while you enjoy tasty treats like cupkakes made with stout and baileys. All the proceeds from the event benefit the Ronald McDonald House in Southwest Florida.
"When somebody has to stay with us, it's not a happy time, they're going through a very traumatic experience... so having them right there at the house just footsteps away from their child's bedside 24 hours a day, it's priceless," says Angela Katz with Ronal McDonald House.
The festival is saturday at the lawn across from The Pub. There will be live entertainment and beer tasting from 1 to 4.
Purchase tickets in advance for $30 at www.rmhcswfl.org or $35 at the gate. Advance ticket holders will enjoy access starting at noon. Lawn chairs, blankets and well behaved pets are welcome. Participating Mercato restaurants will serve menu items for purchase. No coolers or outside food will be permitted.
