LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Nine businesses and residential communities have filed an emergency injunction to change the route trucks are taking to deliver sand from mines to Collier County beaches.

Communities, including Grandezza, and businesses, like the Miromar Outlets, filed the motion today. They say trucks should travel along Alico Road because it's safer.

Currently, more than 100 trucks are using Corkscrew to deliver loads of sand to the beaches.

This story is still developing.
