FORT MYERS, FL - Cape Coral city leaders are seeking bond validation to begin to raise money for city fire and emergency services. City manager John Szerlag says the City needs more than 10 million dollars to fund equipment purchases and salaries. The assessment would mean each property owners would owe about 150 dollars. If a judge approves the validation, residents could see a bill in as little as 30 days.
