FORT MYERS, Fl. - A new local business is putting their own spin on frozen treats. Sunset Sweets in Fort Myers opened two weeks ago and specializes in frozen custard.
But, they freeze it right in front of you using liquid nitrogen. The owners say, they got the idea from the show, 'Shark Tank' and wanted to bring something new to Fort Myers.
"There's so many frozen yogurt places, so many ice cream, so many soft serve shops, we wanted something different and frozen custard is our way to bring something different," says co-owner, Brian Friedrichs.
All the custard is made from scratch. Right now they are featuring a pumpkin spice flavor for fall. The shop is located inside the Sun Cup Golf Center on Daniels Parkway.
