LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Lee County Utilities will be conducting a scheduled water outage to repair an 8” water line on Wednesday. The water is scheduled to be off from approximately 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
The following area will be affected by the outage and will then be under a precautionary boil water notice once the repairs have been completed:
-McGregor Blvd from Winkler Rd to Sunset Vista Dr.
-Winkler Rd from Riverwalk Park Blvd to McGregor Blvd
-Pine Hammock Circle
-Shaddelee Lane E
-Shaddelee Ln W
-El Rio Ave
-El Mar Ave
-El Valle Ave
-Banyan Cove Cir
-Burning Bark Dr
-Hidden Harbour Blvd
-Harbour Club Rd
-River Palm Ct
-Rails End Ct
-Entrada Dr N
-Entrada Dr S
Approximately 10 commercial customers and 1,000 customers are affected.
As a precaution, all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes should be boiled at a rolling boil for one minute, or as an alternative, bottled water may be used. This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until bacteriological test shows that the water is safe to drink. Test results will take approximately 48-72 hours.
Please call 533-8575 after 4:30 p.m. September 21, 2013 and each day thereafter as needed to get the current status of the boil water notice.
