FORT MYERS, Fla.- Fort Myers Police are searching for the suspect responsible for a robbery at the 7-11 convenience store, located at 9660 S.R. 82, on Sunday.

An unknown suspect entered the business and said he needed money. The suspect implied he had a weapon and directed the clerk to open the cash register. The suspect then fled the scene with a small amount of cash.

Surveillance video shows the suspect as a black male wearing a yellow shirt and plaid shorts. He was driving a silver four-door vehicle that can also been seen in the back right of one of the surveillance photos.

Anyone with information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the robbery suspect could be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
