WEST PARK, Fla. (AP) - Authorities in South Florida say a Tri-Rail train sideswiped a Jeep that got stuck as it tried to make a U-turn at the railroad crossing.
The crash happened early Monday on Hallandale Beach Boulevard in West Park.
Broward Sheriff's Office officials say three people were inside the Jeep, which had just left Scarlett's Cabaret in nearby Hallandale Beach. The driver faces DUI charges.
There were about 100 people on the Tri-Rail train, but no injuries were reported.
