ENGLEWOOD, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's detectives are requesting the public's assistance to identify a female suspect involved in a vehicle burglary and credit card fraud case.

In mid-July 2013, a Rotonda area resident reported that sometime overnight someone had broken into her vehicle in her driveway. Along with a variety of property and money reported missing was the victim’s debit card.

When the victim discovered the vehicle burglary, she contacted her bank and learned that her debit card had been fraudulently used four times overnight, once at the Englewood Wal-Mart and three times at the Sunoco station on McCall Road in Englewood.

During the investigation, detectives learned that a white female had also attempted to use the victim’s debit card at the McCall Road branch of Wells Fargo Bank. Detectives received the attached photographs from Wells Fargo. One photograph shows the suspect driving a sedan. The photos from the ATM machine itself only show the upper portion of the woman’s head and not a complete face.

Anyone with information on the identity of this woman or the vehicle is asked to please call the Sheriff’s Office at (941) 639-2101, or Crime Stoppers at 800-780-TIPS (8477).
