MIAMI (AP) - Classes are cancelled for the day after a fiery crash left one person dead and three injured at the entrance to Miami Dade College's Liberty City campus.
Police say the crash happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday.
In a statement, college spokesman Juan Mendieta says all daytime classes are cancelled. He says the college will keep students and faculty updated on whether evening classes will be held.
Witnesses say a speeding car went out of control and crashed into the entrance and burst into flames. The Miami Herald (http://hrld.us/14AgIcU ) reports the car barely missed two people at a nearby bus stop.
