FORT MYERS SHORES, Fla.- For the first time we're hearing from the parents of a little boy found wandering on the street near Fort Myers Shores. A couple spotted him all alone on the 2600 block of Davis Blvd. Thursday morning.
James Ragan said he walked outside to do some car repairs when he noticed the child wandering, with no parents or guardian in sight.
"I think I said, 'Where are you going?' He turned around and looked at me. I said, 'Come here. Get off the road!' And he came right to me," said Ragan. "He just acted like he was excited or lost or upset."
Ragan said the boy seemed unhurt and well taken care of.
Deputies were able to reunite the boy with his family. He is now safe and sound at home with his parents.
