FORT MYERS, Fla.- The Fort Myers Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one woman injured Sunday evening on Alhambra Dr.

Dispatchers received multiple calls around 9:00 p.m. in regards to gunshots heard in the area. Officers arrived on the scene and were flagged down by one of the victims, who said his girlfriend was suffering from two non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. He told police he had taken her to Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The man told police he and his girlfriend had just arrived home, when an unknown male subject, wearing a white shirt, ran up to the yard and began shooting.
